Abstract

Dewasa awal memiliki tugas perkembangan untuk melakukan eksplorasi dan eksperimen yang diwujudkan melalui banyak kegiatan dengan lingkungan sekitar. Adanya pandemi COVID-19 menghambat pemenuhan tugas perkembangan tersebut dan menyebabkan stres pada dewasa awal. Pet attachment dan dukungan sosial dapat menjadi sumber daya yang mempengaruhi bagaimana individu menilai situasi stress yang dihadapinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh pet attachment dan dukungan sosial terhadap stress pada dewasa awal selama pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengambilan data melalui survei pada individu yang tercakup dalam rentang usia dewasa awal yakni 18-25 tahun, jumlah responden sebanyak 102 orang. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan pet attachment dan dukungan sosial memiliki pengaruh terhadap stres dewasa awal selama satu bulan terakhir. Dukungan sosial dan pet attachment berkontribusi pada stress pada dewasa awal sebesar 12,8% (R2 = 0,128). Secara parsial, dukungan social berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap stress dan pengaruh pet attachment terhadap stress ditemukan tidak signifikan.
